Tigre Bar & Kitchen: Miami Takeover

 Just in time for Father's Day our Off the Menu Chef's Table will introduce a unique and immersive experience that will bring you on a culinary journey into specific cuisine themes.


Join us at Lido Bayside on Thursday, June 15th as we feature a
four-course menu focused on meat dishes and a perfectly paired whiskey tasting.

Course 1: Lamb Tartar: house smoked new zealand lamb, mint aioli, honey pickled radish, quail egg, salt cured quail egg yolk shavings, spicy toasted focaccia

Paired with Red Breast: irish whiskey aged 12 year, single pot still


Course 2: Duck Confit: pan seared duck breast, crispy shredded duck leg, red beet risotto, shaved manchego, orange apricot demi-glace

Paired with Glenlivet 14: cognac cask 14 year aged, single malt speyside scotch


Course 3: Bone-In Cowgirl: charred bone in cowgirl ribeye, duxelles cream, truffled herb butter, root vegetable gratin
Paired with Aberlour: double cask matured 12 years, speyside malt scotch whiskey


Course 4: Cinnamon Apple Bread Pudding: brioche bread, braised apples, silvered candied almonds, cinnamon ice cream, cognac creme anglaise, candied orange peels

Paired with Jefferson Reserve: bourbon barrel select, small batch bourbon

Executive Chef Gaston is a culinary expert who has explored every facet of the food & beverage industry, leaving no stone unturned. Opening countless restaurants in NYC, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and more, Gaston has used his extensive culinary studies under renowned chefs honing his skills in the art of ceviche, gastronomy, butchering and grilling techniques. His creativity shines through the unique menus he has authored, still running successfully today.


Chef Gaston's unwavering creativity and passion has reimagined our very own Lido Bayside, and we're excited to introduce an Off The Menu experience to get a behind the scenes look into our culinary maestro's process.

She studied Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at the Community School of Traditional Chinese Health Care, as well as advanced studies in China. She is a NCCAOM Diplomate of Acupuncture, and a Florida Board Licensed Acupuncture Physician. Her practice is a mixture of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five-Phase Acupuncture, NSEV Acupuncture Healing and Astrology.


To provide patients an integrated approach, Lori collaborates with other doctors to foster the strongest team for the whole individual, not just their isolated symptoms. She has applied her training to specialized areas including infertility, immune disorders, and facial rejuvenation.

Starting your own business and picking the right niche in no time

The evening will involve Lori discussing an overview of the current astrological conditions affecting us all, as well as moments of interaction with Lori directly where guests can ask more details about the natal birth charts provided.

 

Lori Bell

I discovered astrology when I was 13 while living at boarding school. My roommate had an astrology book that fascinated me, which later became mine. A world opened for me that has become a lifelong study. A seeker since I was very young, I was drawn to the ideas and perspective of astrology. I always felt there was so much more going on than what is immediately visible, and I wanted to know more. Astrology was that beginning for me. It became a lifelong process – at this point a 40+ year study – which continues to inform what I do as a health practitioner, and my own life. I’ve experienced the compatibility between astrology and my practice as acupuncturist with clients dealing with health, life challenges, and life in general.

 

Working with Evolutionary Astrology has been an empowering experience. I see we are all created with a purpose and life challenges. Understanding my own chart allowed me to develop a deeper more compassionate relationship with myself. At every moment I feel I have abilities and tools to create a joyful, successful journey, as well as opportunities for transformation and change. It has helped me navigate some challenging periods, and negotiate relationships with more peace, grace and love.

 
Benefits of Having Your Chart Done:
Astrology has taught me many things; one of the most valuable is timing. Certain times favor moving forward into the world, and others for internal growth and retreat. The planetary line up is our “school,” so to speak. When certain planets hit our chart we experience an awakening in our lives. How do we navigate unknown territory? How do we live our life to our full potential? What really makes us happy?

Knowing your natal chart provides insight into the complexities and patterns at work in one’s life, and what a particular time suggests. Along with this insight one sees the innate strengths they are endowed with to meet the challenges of their life, as well as areas where inertia is more likely. This experience often becomes a catalyst towards greater self-acceptance, actualizing potential, and action. My interest is healing, understanding and communicating the integrity in someone’s chart.
